I'm Jen Donati, founder of Time & Tide Travel, a Boston luxury travel agency affiliated with Virtuoso. I plan custom trips for clients in Boston, across the country and around the world.

As a child, I would sit in my dad's office at the airport, watching planes take off and imagining where each one was headed. That curiosity never left me.

Family and multigenerational travel is where I began, and it is still close to my heart. I also specialize in Switzerland and Italy, luxury African safaris, and ocean and river cruises. I lived in Switzerland for a decade, speak German and Swiss German, and am a Certified Swiss Travel Expert. In 2022, I became the go-to expert on Scenic and Emerald river cruises for my agency and created the booking guide other advisors used.

Before founding Time & Tide Travel, I worked in publishing, marketing, and research, coached executives in Zurich, and helped design an in-house portal for luxury travel advisors at The Ovation Network, part of American Express GBT.

As an independent affiliate of Departure Lounge, one of Virtuoso's top five agencies, my clients enjoy preferred-partner benefits at many of the world's finest hotels, such as daily breakfast, hotel credits, and room upgrades when available.

Time is our most precious non-renewable asset. My role is to help you spend it well, with personal advocacy before, during, and after your journey.

Jen is a Certified Swiss Travel Expert who spent nearly a decade living in Switzerland.

Drawing on a lifetime in hospitality, European fluency and trusted global relationships, Jen designs bespoke journeys across Europe and beyond, pairing exceptional hotels, private guides and seamless logistics with the judgment, advocacy and personal attention discerning travelers expect.

Jen's background in diplomacy, writing and strategic communications ensures that she handles each trip with discretion, detail and expertise.

Gioia Donati

Client Experience & Travel Content

Having lived and studied abroad, Gioia brings an international perspective and thoughtful, analytical insight to client experience and content. She holds a BA (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and supports client communication, trip check-ins and travel inspiration, helping every traveler feel informed, supported and genuinely cared for.

Gioia's background in neuroscience ensures a deep, thoughtful focus on intuitive client care and frictionless communication.

Gemma Donati

Destination Research & Itinerary Assistant

Gemma holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Her analytical approach and international experience strengthen destination research and itinerary development, from evaluating hotels and routing to uncovering distinctive local experiences. She brings particular insight to luxury family travel, multigenerational journeys and specialized college visit planning.

Gemma's engineering background brings precision to evaluating complex transport routes, logistics and mapping.
