Luxury England Travel, From London to the Cotswolds

London as a local knows it, the Cotswolds as a family knows it, and the palaces, gardens and galleries in between, planned by an advisor who has called England a second home.

England Has Been a Second Home

I lived in London for two years, and for about ten more my daughters and I flat-sat for family there, coming back again and again. I still have family and friends in the city, and I know it intimately: the neighborhoods, the quiet corners and the places Londoners actually go.

We are history lovers and art lovers, so I brought my daughters to as many palaces and museums as I possibly could. And we fell in love with the Cotswolds: honey-stone villages, footpaths across the fields and long country lunches.

What I offer is simple and hard to find: the difference between what’s hype and what’s heart.

“What’s hype and what’s heart: that is what we know, and what we share.”

Ask me about the London I know: underground wine bars, car boot sales and vintage markets, the best cheesemongers and the walks worth taking.

The England We Know

London. Palaces, museums and galleries for history and art lovers, paired with the neighborhoods, markets and hidden corners that make the city feel like yours.

The Cotswolds. Honey-stone villages, country inns and walks through rolling fields. My daughters and I explored them for years, and we know which villages to see early and which to linger in.

Markets and makers. Car boot sales, vintage markets that come around every other month, and cheesemongers worth crossing town for.

Walking. London’s best walks and the Cotswold paths, chosen for the views and the pub at the end.

Hype or heart. Some famous places deserve every bit of their reputation. Others are better skipped for somewhere you will remember. Knowing the difference is the luxury.

Couples

A quiet hotel tucked into a London square, a gallery before the crowds, an underground wine bar after dark and a weekend at a Cotswold inn.

Families

Palaces, castles and museums that bring history to life, open green space, market mornings and a pace that leaves room for everyone. We raised our daughters on these trips.

BEYOND ENGLAND

BEYOND ENGLAND

England connects beautifully by rail: London with the Cotswolds, the north and on to Scotland, or across to Paris and the Continent.

Tell me how you hope to travel, and I will design an England journey around you: London as a local knows it, the countryside at its most beautiful and the places that are heart, not hype.
