Luxury River Cruises, Expeditions and Yachts, Chosen With Care

River cruises, expedition voyages and intimate luxury yachts, chosen by an advisor who boards the ships, meets the people who run them and knows the difference.

Not the Cruise You Imagine

I grew up in the airline industry, and I am a lover of cruises. I remember watching Love Boat reruns and thinking how wonderful it all looked. Cruising has come a very long way since then.

Today, a cruise is one of the most graceful ways to travel. With airport hassles and tight connections, a ship lets you unpack once and move at your own pace. On a river cruise, think of the ship as your moving luxury hotel: no crowds, no repacking and a new view every morning.

Many river lines offer specialty sailings. Love cooking? I can place you on a voyage where a favorite chef is guesting on board, and you can watch the dishes being made from your table. There is a small pool, a gym and time to simply sit and watch the world go by. It is not what most people imagine.

I know this industry from the inside. In 2022, when Scenic and Emerald needed extra advisor support, I applied and was chosen to help, and I wrote the booking guide we nicknamed the Scenic Bible. I learned their cruises from A to Z, and today I meet the leaders of the cruise lines and inspect ships in person.

“Think of the ship as your moving luxury hotel. Unpack once, and let the world come to you.”

I step on board, inspect the ships and know the people behind them. I am your advocate.

Where Cruising Shines

Cruising opens up places that have become difficult, or very costly, to see well on land.

Sicily. Sicily has become wildly popular, and for good reason. But many of its beaches are rocky, and sea-view rooms ashore command remarkable prices. From a beautiful ship, you arrive in port with the island before you and explore by day, without the faff.

Japan. Japan is a nation of islands, and some areas have become very hard to book. Unpack once in your floating accommodations, step off each day and enjoy. No train schedules, and no finding your own way from island to island.

Europe by river. The Danube, the Rhine, the Douro and beyond, at a gentle pace, docking in the heart of town.

Sea days and crossings. If you love time at sea, a transatlantic crossing or a voyage with more days at sea offers its own kind of luxury.

RIVER CRUISES

RIVER CRUISES

Small ships that dock in the heart of historic towns, with themed sailings for food, wine, music and more. Ideal for couples, friends and multigenerational families who want Europe without the logistics.

EXPEDITIONS

EXPEDITIONS

Antarctica, with options that shorten the Drake Passage or depart from Australia. The Arctic and the Northern Lights, chased from the comfort of your ship. Remote places, reached in comfort.

LUXURY YACHTS

LUXURY YACHTS

Intimate yachts from Aman, Four Seasons, Orient Express and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Departure Lounge hosted the first-ever panel bringing all four together, where I met their leaders. Ponant pioneered small-ship luxury decades ago and remains a wonderful way to dip a toe in.

Booking through me costs you nothing extra. As preferred partners of the leading lines, we offer insider access and amenities you won’t get booking on your own, and there is never a planning fee to book a cruise. For a small fee, I will also arrange your flights and your stays before and after.

Tell me where you dream of going and how you like to travel, and I will match you with the right line, the right ship and the right suite.
